Operations, Logistics & Safety Manager

  • Oversee warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation, and planning workers
  • Plans, directs, and administers all aspects of the company warehouse, including requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies.
  • Oversees and executes the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices.
  • Oversees all Drivers, driver logs, reports.
  • Oversees all Warehouse Employees (All Shifts).
  • Oversees Night Manager, Supervisors, and Leads.
  • Maintains and implements routing systems and employees’ schedules.
  • Maintain records, documents, necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse needs.
  • Reports and informs any findings and warehouse activities to VP of Operations
  • Interacts and communicates with department managers and warehouse employees.
  • Works directly with HR Department to maintain compliance, up to date policies, training, safety programs, certification, and inspections
  • Recruit, hire, train and evaluate employees
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Communicate Job expectations and coach employees
  • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee’s performance
